Dave and I were so excited to have another event at the Millstone at Adam’s Pond recently. Christie and Jonathan met while working together at Buffalo Wild Wings. Christie said they enjoy “simple date nights together like dinner and a movie.” Jonathan proposed on Christmas Eve in front of the bride’s entire family! Christie was lucky to have an extremely talented and organized friend, Lori Ash, to help her plan all the wedding details! When asked what she learned from her wedding planning that might help new brides-

My advice to future brides is pick one thing to do a month and you’ll knock it all out in no time. It helped me out a lot because I never felt overwhelmed like I had a million things to do at once. If you start to stress out (which you will at some point) just take a deep breath and remember that you’re marrying the love of your life and nothing else really matters.

The tan suits were a great casual, and cool look for an outdoor spring wedding ceremony. The guys actually bought these from Belks since it worked out cheaper than renting.

The bridesmaid dresses from David’s bridal are a “spa” blue which Christie said closely resembled the classic Tiffany blue.

The bride actually made these awesome golf tee boutonnieres herself!

When boutonnieres first came up, Jon said “I’m not going to prom! I don’t want any stupid looking flowers on my jacket like I’m in high school!” Haha.. So we compromised and I made them out of golf tees and tulle because he loves to golf.

Bride and Dad moments are some of my all time favorites! The great thing about having two photographers is that one can be with the bride and Dad beforehand and one can capture the groom’s face as you walk in!
