What's the benefit of having two photographers?
Two perspectives- With a coordinated photography team, one photographer can be with the
ladies as they get ready before the wedding and one can work with the gentlemen. One
photographer can record the moments between a bride and her father before they enter the
church, while the other captures the look of anticipation on the groom’s face as he awaits his
bride. The possibilities are endless!

Two unique styles- Photographers each have their own styles and see things in different ways.
While one photographer can focus on creating fun photos of the highlights of the wedding, the
other can focus on the quieter candid moments, like a mother watching her daughter dance
with her dad. By mixing both our candid & photojournalistic, fun & romantic styles we can
capture all the moments of your wedding day with efficiency, variety and fun!

What is a First Look?
A first look session is where the bride and groom choose to have a special moment before the ceremony where the groom sees the bride for the first time in a private setting.  After these intimate moments are captured, we are able to get photographs of the bride and groom alone together as well as with their bridal party and family.

The main reason that couples choose a first look option is because they don’t want to keep their guests waiting at the reception but they also don’t want to sacrifice great photos with their family and friends to be in a rush.  The first look allows them to take fun and relaxed photos before the ceremony, getting a variety of locations, without the stress of feeling rushed because they’re keeping guests waiting.

Other couples have chosen the first look because it’s difficult for a couple to have a truly intimate moment seeing each other for the first time, when they’re standing in front of a crowd.  The first look allows real emotional reactions and you get to hug, cry and have a conversation in privacy.  Our couples in the past have mentioned how much less nervous they felt after the first look and they were able to relax and enjoy walking into the church to marry their best friend!

If you feel like the first look might right for you, let us know and we can help walk you through the options.  We also respect preferences to keep wedding traditions as well and can make arrangements to take as many photos separately before the wedding as possible.
