I was excited to visit Laurens, South Carolina for Meredith & Taylor’s wedding last weekend! There are so many adorable neighborhoods and just driving around you get a warm, friendly small town feel. The First Baptist Church in Laurens has one of the prettiest little gardens for photos that I’ve ever seen! We started the day with a few photos of the bridal party around the church.
The lacy button-down back of Meredith’s gown was so elegant!
The tree in the prayer garden made a natural frame and the light fell softly in this narrow space. It was like a photographer’s dream!

The reception was held at Meredith’s parents lovely home in rural Laurens. The did a great job transforming the backyard with a tented area for seating and a dancefloor across the grass.
They have a gorgeous red barn on their property and that was one spot I could not miss for some portraits of the bride and groom!
The guests partied to the live music of the Erica Berg Collective band on the backyard dance floor.
The couple exited the reception to the guests showering them in heart shaped confetti. Taylor couldn’t help but show off some of his truck’s power on the way out. I hope they enjoy their Key West honeymoon! Congratulations Meredith & Taylor!
