It was beginning to feel like fall in Columbia for Lisa & Shane’s November wedding. The ceremony was held at St. John’s Episcopal Church in downtown Columbia. Between the beautiful stone church and the leaves starting to change colors, Dave and I were thrilled with all the photo options we had for this amazing wedding!
Shane had a really fun bunch of groomsmen and an adorable ringbearer. Check out that attitude!
The first look with Dad moments are some of my favorite of the day!
Scott Jones with American Floral did an amazing job on this gorgeous fall bouquets.
Lisa took a peek out the window to see which guests were arriving!
Those classic wooden doors made a great background for some bride and groom portraits in front of the church.
Sooooo excited about those fall leaves!
The sun sets early in November, but the River Road and Jasmine House looks great even at night.
Lisa tricked us with the cake cutting. They started with a gentle fork cake feeding but as soon as the forks were down she surprised Shane with a little frosting facial. Don’t worry, there were sticky kisses to follow!
We headed over to the archways at the Jasmine House for some night portraits of the bride and groom under the lights. This turned out to be one of my favorite images of the day and we were thrilled when Huffington Post weddings featured this image on their weekly highlights post!
I couldn’t help but post tons of images for Lisa and Shane’s reception because Mike Lockaby of Partytime DJ‘s was killing it! As you can see, everyone was dancing, singing along and in general having a great time.
Can you tell they were having fun?
Congratulations Lisa & Shane!
