I’ve been looking forward to Penny’s wedding ever since I’ve heard that she was getting married.  I had the pleasure of photographing Penny’s twin sister, Page’s wedding over 10 years ago (wow, it doesn’t seem like that long!) and I still have fond memories of that beautiful wedding day.  The Ligon family is beautiful inside and out and I felt so honored to be a part of Penny’s big day too!  Penny and Mike decided that the rustic, classic Corley Mill House would be the perfect spot for their wedding day!

Getting ready

To match the black and white theme, the bridesmaids and flowergirls had black dresses. The sparkly belts on the flowergirls gowns were a great touch to add a little more formal look for the fall, sunset wedding ceremony.

The balcony at the Corley Mill House makes the perfect stop for a before the ceremony together, but not together, photo of the bride and groom!

Walking down the aisle

Penny’s brother in law walked her down the aisle to the garden ceremony.

Penny had decorated the gazebo with lights for the sunset ceremony so we took the opportunity to grab some portrait of the couple in the twilight glow.

We were so excited that Huffington Post weddings decided to feature one of Penny’s gazebo photos in their weekly feature!
