So many congratulations are in order for Lauren and Anthony this week! Not only did they just get married in a beautiful garden ceremony at Senate’s End, but a day before the wedding, Lauren celebrated her college graduation! And while Lauren finished school, Anthony has been serving his country as an active duty Marine. These two met when the matron-of-honor, being a Marine wife herself, she set Lauren up to go on a date with Anthony. What a great match! And in Lauren’s words,
What was supposed to be “just a friendly date to the military ball” turned into a wedding!
Everyone was thankful for the amazing weather on Lauren and Anthony’s wedding day. This December has been rather chilly with a few days only getting up to the 40’s but for this one day, temperatures warmed up to a pleasant 70 degrees for this outdoor wedding. And even though there was rain on the forecast, the clouds parted to give Lauren and Anthony the perfect warm, sunny wedding day!
The bridesmaids were looking stunning in their deep red dresses with gold accents in the bouquets.
I love all the details that come with a military wedding!
The groom hand wrapped these knives as a personal symbol of family and friendship for his groomsmen gift.
The look on the groom’s face as he saw Lauren for the first time down the aisle was priceless.
What a beautiful couple! I love outdoor weddings even in the winter!
The reception was held in the Hall at Senate’s End.
Dupre Catering has some of the best food!
Naked cakes are so much fun!
The shoe game is a fun way to get to know the bride and groom and see how they well they know each other.
The sparkler exit was slightly dampened by the rain that held off earlier, but that didn’t dampen the excitement. Congratulations Lauren & Anthony!
