I really enjoyed spending time with Meredith and Jason because they have so much in common with my husband and me!  We both have three dogs, we both like USC and Green Bay (Go Packers!) and we both dated for a few years before getting married.  As long as Meredith and Jason have known each other (7 years), Meredith didn’t think she would be surprised when he popped the question, but Jason had a very elaborate plan up his sleeve- and a little help from Meredith’s friends!  As Meredith recalls,

Jason got my best friend / boss, Ashley, to fake an appointment in Charleston, where we manage properties, on a Friday during the work day in order to surprise me. After two hours of car rides, cancelled “appointments,” and countless lies, Ashley got me on the ferry from Patriot’s Point to Fort Sumter where Jason was waiting with a ring. We spent time on Fort Sumter making phone calls to family and doing a photo shoot. Upon returning to Patriot’s Point, he had a white table cloth picnic waiting for us overlooking the water. It was PERFECT!

So sneaky and so amazing!  Way to go Jason!  I can’t wait for the couple’s wedding in April 2018.  Here’s a few previews from their Riverwalk and SC State House session (and a special appearance from their sweet doggies too!)
