Layne and Robert met through an online dating app, but there are so many things that brought them together, you’d swear it was meant to be.  Layne came from Ohio to Columbia on the offer of a teaching job and when she met Robert, she realized that she was teaching at the high school that he was an alumni from.  After they had been dating a while, Layne met Robert’s mother.  The ladies seem to recognize each other and realized that Robert’s mom, being a teacher as well, had come to observe Layne when she started working at the school district.  What a small world!

I had a great time walking around Columbia with these two.  We have so much in common- we love our dogs, enjoy traveling, think the idea of a Star Wars themed wedding ceremony sounds tempting- so there was lots to chat about as we explored.  We braved one of those chilly winter days on the downtown streets but we found some really great backgrounds along Main Street.  After downtown, we decided to head to Riverwalk Park where they like to walk their dog, Jackson.
