LaTavia and Hudie had a few inspiring themes for their engagement session which included romantic and classy- and I think they nailed it!  We had so much fun taking portraits in and around 701 Whaley. These two have such a warm, familiar way of interacting with each other and I guess it makes sense since they’ve been sweethearts since high school.  Hudie told me that as soon as he saw her in 9th grade health class, he knew she was the girl for him. So sweet!

LaTavia picked out the best outfits- I love how the bold blue/black stands out against the white 701 Whaley walls.

We did a quick outfit change for more photos outside.  Once again, they rocked another great sophisticated and classic look!  That jacket is sharp!

We had a little fun with a few goofy photos at the end.

But wait, there’s a surprise that I had the honor to help reveal!  LaTavia and Hudie are expecting a baby! As LaTavia put it on her facebook announcement using some of these adorable photos-

So excited to meet this little person who is half of me and half of the one I love.

The baby should even be a few months old by the date of the wedding so the timing worked out perfectly. Can’t wait to see more of what life holds in store for this great couple and we’re going to have a blast at the wedding next year!
