Lydia and Anthony started out as friends who liked to go to concerts together. One day, they decided to give dating a try. It certainly worked out and Anthony picked a great time to pop the BIG question. As Lydia describes,
We were at Steamboat Colorado for a ski trip. After a morning of falls and frustration, Tony suggested a trip up the gandala so I can see all of Steamboat. About half way up, he and I just sat in awe at the mountains and snow. When I looked over at him, he was down on one knee. He asked and I said yes. When we got to the top, we called everyone.
We originally had big plans to go out to Aiken for Lydia & Anthony’s engagement session but the persistent rain convinced us to stay a little closer to home. It drizzled at the beginning of their session, but they hung in there and we were rewarded with some really beautiful photos with all the rich, saturated colors of a wet landscape and we had the Horseshoe all to ourselves! Here’s a few portraits between raindrops!
I LOVE this porch hidden on the Horseshoe. Lydia actually knows all about USC landmarks since she works with the signage for all the campuses!
We were able to catch some stunning spots as the rain dried up.
Tony had just graduated USC with a business degree so we ended our day at the lovely Darla Moore Business School. These two have some exciting months ahead. I can’t wait for the wedding!
