There was excitement at every turn at Amanda and Bob’s Riverbanks Zoo wedding.  From a bridal party picking their favorite animal to ride on the carousel, an eager giraffe tongue reaching for the nearest guest to feed them and a very playful elephant tossing a pumpkin over her back, the day was full of lighthearted adventures!  I started the day with Amanda who was catching the last of a very close USC – Georgia game in the Aquarium classroom. Just before we were heading out to do the first look with Bob, USC managed a victory! All the more reason to celebrate!

After the first look, we headed to the carousel with the bridal party to take a few fun photos.

The ceremony was held in front of the Bird House.

The giraffe feeding was a big hit with the guests, the newlyweds and the giraffes!

But the giraffes couldn’t get all the fun.  We were able to watch Belle, the elephant, get a special treat of two plump pumpkins.  The first one she stepped on, I imagine to get at the good stuff on the inside, but the second pumpkin she sucked up with her trunk.  When it seemed a little too big to fit in her mouth whole, she had a little fun by tossing it over her back. It was so much fun to watch.

The reception was held at the Ndoki Lodge. I love the animal-themed table decorations.
