Amber & Joe Ben- SC State Museum, Columbia SC Wedding

I’ve always love the historic feel of the SC State Museum. With it’s huge open floor plan and brick walls it also made a perfect venue for Amber and Joe Ben’s wedding ceremony and reception. The videographer, Julie, and I really liked the texture and ambiance of a stairwell just outside the Planetarium so we used that as the spot for Amber and Joe Ben’s first look. After that we took the bridal party throughout the lobby and planetarium area to get some fun, relaxed photos as the visitors were clearing out of the museum. The ceremony was held in the lobby area to the right of the front door, while the reception and first dance was set up in the main part of the lobby. The Charleston Wedding Band rocked the house until it was time for a sparkler send-off!
