Ashley & Brett- Riverbanks Zoo and Gardens, Columbia SC Wedding

I think Brett got a little nervous when Ashley told him her dress “wasn’t white” but she couldn’t have looked more amazing in her custom made dress with just a touch of lavender in the glamorous, flowing skirt!

Ashley and Brett’s wedding was held at the Riverbanks Zoo and Garden and due to the time change and the closing time of the zoo, the ceremony was scheduled to begin 30 minutes after sunset.  We had talked about how dark it may be at that time, but not to worry!  Ambient Media to the rescue!  The Ambient team brought in specialized lighting to naturally highlight the couple during the ceremony and really bring out the scenery behind them.  Check out this difference from ceremony lighting to when we went back for some more romantic mood photos with the ambient light and a video light behind them.

I really loved walking through the garden at night with just the twinkling lights to add a little sparkle to the photos!
