Isn’t it great when a love story begins and ends full circle? Swing back to 2009, and a happy couple, Emily and Adam, went to a romantic dinner before prom at New Orleans Seafood Restaurant. Throughout the years, they date, get to know each other and fall in love! Fast forward to 2015 and New Orleans Restaurant has become the wedding venue Stone River. What could be a better place for Emily & Adam’s wedding reception? The bride says,
We have a picture in front of the Gervais Street bridge from prom and that is the whole “theme” of the wedding. Our invitations were made with the Gervais Street Bridge on them and we have a small model of the bridge that is being made for the party favors. Also, our new last name is waters which goes along with the whole river/bridge theme.
The wedding ceremony was held at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Columbia. One of the sweetest moments was when Emily and Adam’s Dads went in front of the crowd and sang a duet. They had clearly practiced many times before the weddings and they were quite a crowd pleaser! I’m so glad that I could be a part of Emily and Adam’s Stone River love story!
