Amanda & BJ picked a perfect day for their outdoor garden wedding at The Hall at Senate’s End.  I was amazed to see how laid back the atmosphere was in the getting ready room as Amanda and her ladies worked on hair and makeup.  I think part of their ease came from the fact that Amanda and some of her bridesmaids have worked several weddings and events with By Invitation Only wedding planning.  Knowing what to expect out of the day, planning the details well ahead of time, and knowing she was in good hands with rest of the By Invitations Only crew, seemed to really allow Amanda to relax and enjoy her pre-wedding time!

The gentlemen looked great in their suits and I especially loved BJ’s red Palmetto tree tie!  There’s lots of great SC details in this wedding.

The holding hands around the door trick is a nice way to get some photos of the bride and groom “together” before the ceremony and say a quick hello before the walk down the aisle!

These palmetto tree stained glass wedding favors are probably the coolest guest gifts I’ve ever seen.  With some many guests from out of the state, it was neat to give them a little piece of SC to take home.  And the bride’s mother hand-made these herself!

Amanda’s mom also made the wedding cake and the cheesecakes on the desert bar!  What talent!

There were tears all around when Amanda walked down the aisle!

One of the advantages of Senate’s End is that it’s so close to the river so we walked down for a quick portraits on the bank.

Who knew that under the Gervais Street bridge could be so photogenic?  It helps to have a stunning bride and groom too, though!

Dupre Catering always does an amazing job with the food at the Hall at Senate’s End.

A true South Carolina wedding experience wouldn’t be complete without a surprise visit from Cocky!  Shake your tail feather!

The back porch of Senate’s End is so romantic with the tealights and lanterns so we snuck the bride and from outside for a few romantic portraits of just the two of them.
